Supply chain reliability has become of critical importance to business leaders, and we will address several aspects crucial to understanding and improving this reliability: supply chain reality; supply chain reliability; bottlenecks; supplier base resilience; the supply chain mapping process; contingency planning; strategic partnerships; and business intelligence: a powerful lever for analysis and decision-making power. Effective supply chain management relies on a thorough understanding of current realities, the implementation of robust processes and the ability to anticipate and respond to challenges. We hope this conference will provide you with valuable insights and practical strategies for improving the reliability and resilience of your supply chain.

Hyper-automation, from theory to practice

Professor Michel Rioux and his colleague François Beaubien will summarize the concept of hyperautomation. A relatively new term, but above all an immediate technological opportunity. What technologies are involved in hyperautomation? What characterizes hyperautomation? Who can do hyperautomation? What (human) functions can hyperautomation perform? How do you target a good hyperautomation case? What are the practical impacts? How can it be implemented? Then, to move from theory to practice, a case study will be presented to demonstrate how accessible technologies, in terms of cost and skills required, can become unhoped-for competitive advantages; for example, enabling a company to grow with a tiny fraction of the employees that would otherwise have been needed. We'll see how two students succeeded in proposing the replacement of a costly commercial solution with a clever combination of CODE-FREE technologies. We'll follow each step of the solution's creation, step by step. You'll be amazed at how few steps were required. For those who haven't yet realized that we're in the midst of an industrial revolution, this conference should bring you closer to the new reality, no less!

The pragmatic use of AI in the manufacturing sector

AI in manufacturing has the potential to strengthen and reinvent the industry. Yet most AI projects in manufacturing don't get beyond the POC stage. Between the buzz around generative AI, the confusion around other, more discrete types of AI systems, and how to deploy these systems effectively, it's hard to know how to bring AI into factories. In this talk, Felix will demystify some of the big concepts surrounding AI in manufacturing and provide a very clear, step-by-step deployment plan for a successful AI project. By the end of the talk, you'll be able to understand when AI is a good solution for a particular problem and how to implement it effectively.

Freeing up your time and reducing your stress as a manager: how do you manage?

A recurring theme in our SMEs is the over-centralization of information and decision-making on the company's CEO, who is often also its founder. The conference we intend to present will therefore focus on the strategies and systems they can implement to free up their time, make their management group more autonomous, more united and more effective in their decision-making. Real-life cases, both external and internal, will also be presented. This conference is also relevant for managers preparing their succession.
